The Early Years education of your child will lay the foundations for all the years to come. Making sure your child gets the best possible start is something that every parent wants and it’s what we deliver.
Children learn through playing with each other and interacting with the environment around them. That’s why we create environments and educational activities that stimulate play and interaction.
Play allows children to explore, investigate and re-enact in an environment where they are free from fear and judgement. And it’s through play children become socially adept while developing mastery in numeracy and literacy. It helps fine and gross motor skills development and helps develop core stability which in turn helps children to learn how to write and supports creative growth.
We follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Framework. This sets the standards that all early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.
The staff make regular observations on the children’s learning and development, allowing us to ensure that all children’s needs are met to the best of our ability. These observations are stored in individual learning journeys and are available for you to view at any time.
All our spaces, whether indoor or outdoor, are full of intrigue and excitement while being safe, secure and risk assessed. Providing them with an element of beneficial risks aids in their risk development allowing them to make better judgement calls in later life.
Our layout gives the children the freedom and space they need to explore and go on their own adventures. Our resources and activities challenge the children to explore their own physical limits which is perfect preparation for when they push their physical boundaries later in life.
Whether they are counting shells, mixing colours or making a path using logs, your child will be developing problem-solving skills, self-awareness and all the while becoming happy, confident individuals who will go on to make a positive and valuable contribution to society.
